Hi, I'm Tara Lyn Joseph.

Hello! Welcome to FotoLumos Photography. I'm Tara, an illustrative/conceptual portrait photographer and CG artist from Southern California. I shoot on location and in-studio, and use creative editing techniques to create a unique view of my subjects and their world (or a world they wish to inhabit).

I often feel more at home in my imagination than in the real world. I’m drawn to the magical, unusual, and otherworldly, and see the beauty and mystery in the ordinary, revealing the extraordinary, the hopeful, and the macabre through my work.

I believe everyone deserves to have an image of themselves that truly captures their specialness, their unique outlook and their inner world. Unlike a traditional photo session, I work closely with my clients to develop a theme and create artful images to be cherished.
